Meet Lewis! An adorable little dachshund mix. This handsome boy is yet another Texan! Lewis came to us with his friend, Jerry (who isn't quite ready for adoption yet!). Their owner passed away and the family was going to let the dogs out to who knows what outcome if someone didn't help. Can you imagine? Things are very different there that's for sure.

This little guy has personality plus. He loves to snuggle and lay on your lap. Lewis is very low key and quiet. His foster has young grandchildren around him and he has been gentle and friendly. He is house trained and walks on a leash very nicely. He also loves to play with other dogs - unless they get too rough, then he'll let them know he's had enough. He is well mannered and sweet! He loves a good bath and getting all gussied up for his foster mom! He can be left alone in the house (not crated) with no issues. Lewis is truly just a happy, quiet and lovable little guy waiting to become a part of someone's family.

Lewis is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated, tested neg for heartworm. His adoption fee is $350 - please apply on our website if you are interested in this sweetie!
