Shih Tzu (long coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Small
Learn more about the Shih Tzu. Sweet little Lacey! She found herself at a shelter when her family split up. At 7 years old, this was so confusing to her! Our friends at the shelter thought she would happier in a foster home so the Pixie Mama hotline rang and boy did we run to answer it! We love the older dogs that need our help! Lacey is quite a nice girl! She loves to snooze the day away in her little bed. She is crate trained but her foster mom feels she is ok out of one too. She appears to be housetrained but please expect some adjustment time. Lacey wags her tail when she sees her foster mama - so happy for some love and affection. She is fine with other dogs but does not want bouncy puppies in her face. No issues with cats. Kids would be fine as long as they are gently and respectful to her little size. Lacey likes to be outside and will often stand by the gate, almost if waiting for her family. It breaks our heart that she was left at a shelter but we know we will find her a family and home deserving of her love. Lacey is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and has tested neg. for heartworm. She has been diagnosed with arthritis in her hips so supplements must be continued for her comfort. She does not appear to be in any pain or discomfort. Lacey's adoption fee is $350 - please apply on our website if you think she is the dog for you.
