Bon Jour French Bulldog Lovers!  Phoebe (affectionately known as French Fry in her foster home) is a tiny little French Bull Dog who came to us from a puppy mill. Phoebe is about 7 years old and just under 20 pounds! Tres Petite!

She is sweet and affectionate and likes to follow her people everywhere they go.  Phoebe loves to be pet but is very nervous about being picked up and held as most puppy mill dogs are.  She loves to lay on the couch and watch TV and sleep on your bed with you.  She likes other dogs but can be a little possessive over food and her toys so she would probably do better with a younger, more submissive dog.  She prefers small Dogs over large ones and has no issues at all with cats.  Kids would be okay as long as they respect her small size and desire to not be picked up.  She is crate trained but she is still having some issues with peeing in the house.  She hates this cold weather which is making housebreaking more difficult.  She was starting to walk on a leash with a secure harness but it isn’t her favorite thing to do as she is Actually quite lazy.  She has a salivary mucocele (please research this) which was removed on 1/4/18 and she is now cleared for adoption.    We want to make sure whoever wants to adopt Phoebe is well aware that even though we remove this damaged salivary gland the surgeon said although not very common it can reoccur in another gland or on the opposite side.  The surgery is very costly (about $3,000 dollars) and must be something you would be able to afford should this happen to her again.  If you love our little French Fry and think you can provide the home she needs please apply.  Keep in mind that French Bull dogs, especially tiny ones like Phoebe, are one of the most popular breeds in rescue.  She will have a lot of applications and there just one Phoebe!  We will do our best to go through every application and pick the home that we feel is best for her.
