Ella, our bouncy little Boston is ready to find her forever home!  She was originally found as a stray in a local shelter, owners were eventually located and decided to surrender her.  Our guess is she spent a lot of time in a crate, was bred and not socialized with other animals.  She was fearful when first coming into rescue but opened up pretty quickly. 

Ella is a typical Boston Terrier.  She is high energy, super sweet and very playful.  She needs a slow introduction to other dogs and prefers dogs her size or smaller but would most definitely do better with another high energy breed like herself.  Ella is crate trained but not housebroken.  She has done very well pooping outside but is having frequent pee accidents.  She will need to work on this in her new home.  Ella loves her people, she prefers women over men but does eventually warm up to males once she trusts them.  She is still a little insecure with all the changes in her life and is a little clingy but this has improved greatly in her foster home.  She loves kids.  Did not show any aggression toward cats. We would prefer a fenced in yard as she is very energetic but would consider an active couple as well.  As with any adoption, please research the breed.  Bostons make great family pets but they need a lot of exercise to be happy healthy family members and to prevent behavior problems. Ella is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $450
