Say Hi to Randi! Randi is a sweet, lovable, 7-8 year old Corgi who came to Buffalo from Texas after hurricane Harvey. It seems that Randi did not have the best start in life. Her Texas vet records indicate that she had multiple pregnancies and was probably used for breeding.

Randi was taken to a shelter after her owner died, and from there was placed into a foster home prior to coming to WNY. Shortly after arriving in her Texas foster home she was found to have a UTI and bladder stones, which were removed before her move up north. Because of this, she will need to be kept on prescription food and that will run about $60/month. Randi has probably been overweight for most of her life, and she is enthusiastically working on her girlish figure! She LOVES to go on walks, and gets up to 4/day in her current foster home, as she has trained her foster mom to go on early morning walks. She does great on a leash, so along with proper nutrition she should be able to maintain a healthy weight! A fenced in yard is ideal as she loves to chase rabbits and squirrels, and she IS fast! She'd also do fine in an apartment or condo as long as she is taken out on her leash for exercise. She gets along really well w her foster brother, a senior dachshund, and they seem to enjoy flushing rabbits out of the yard together, and snuggling together on the couch afterwards. She is not a big fan of being in her crate, but does go in when her foster parents go to work. Randi's favorites activities in addition to walks include lots of belly rubs and hanging with her dog and human family members. Randi's Texas foster family described her as having a zest for life, and her current foster mom couldn't agree more! If you are looking for an older cuddle bug who is still playful, Randi will not disappoint! She has not been tested with cats. Kids of all ages are fine it seems. Randi is housebroken but please expect some adjustment time as she learns a new home and routine.

Randi is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, tested neg for heartworm and has been given a dental - along with her bladder stone surgery! Her adoption fee is $350 - please apply on website if you are interested in adopting this lovely lady!
