Please meet Pappi (Pappion)- he a dachshund/bichon frise mix. He is 4 years old and weighs 12 pounds. Pappi was surrendered to a local shelter by his owner who no longer wanted him. We were asked for help and knew that he needed us!

Pappi has had a rough start in his life. While in a loving foster home he was able to relax and become the snuggly lap dog he was always meant to be. He has curly long hair and loves to be petted. He is pretty good about going out to relieve himself especially when this is monitored and he is kept company when he goes out. His favorite spot is on the recliner with a person he has become comfortable with. He is a little playful with the other dogs and hasn't shown any aggressiveness at all with any of them. Pappy has been crated when his fosters go to work. He has not made any mess in the crate. He has been agreeable to this but prefers not to. Possibly someone who is home with him more often would be his preference. He hasn't had any leash training but should do well with more exposure. He is looking for a patient best friend to spend his days with. Are you the best friend he is looking for?

Pappi is now neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, tested neg for heartworm, flea/worm treated. His adoption fee is $350. Please apply on our website if you are interested!
