Please meet our girl Opal!  She is a foster favorite for sure!  Opal is about 8 months old and 28 pounds - a cool mix of hound and maybe a couple of other things in there!   A lovely little mongrel!

Opal is very sweet and friendly!  She loves people - especially kids!  She wants to give you kisses and sit on your lap!  Opal is leash trained and crate trained.  She appears to be housetrained but please expect accidents as she adjusts to her new home and routine.  Opal LOVES to be outside!  She is a happy girl that gets along with other dogs just fine.  She is a bit afraid of cats though lol.  Opal is a great companion who would love walks and dog parks.  She rides very nice in the car!  What a great family dog!

Opal is now spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, heartworm neg.  Her adoption fee is $350 - please apply on our website if you are interested in adopting Opal.

  • If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.

  •  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

  • All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
