Learn more about the Chihuahua. Elvira is a spunky little chihuahua! She is about 6 years old and 5ish pounds. Elvira was found as a stray after she was hit by a car and no one ever claimed her. After she was all healed up, she chose to be Pixie and let us find her a perfect home! Elvira does not act like she was hurt! She does not hesitate to do anything and you see very little residual affect of her injury! Elvira is leash trained and crate trained. She will go on a potty pad but likes to be outside too. She is fine with other small dogs - she fit right in at her foster home like a long lost cousin! No issues with cats. Elvira does get barky when she is on a leash and sees another dog or people or if she is in a kennel and they approach her there! She wants them to know her bark is mighty big despite her size. Typical chihuahua! Elvira is a lap dog and loves to be with her foster mom. She is quite happy on a bed near her feet. Older kids would be best due to her small size. She would be fine in an apartment too. She craves love and attention and if you are looking for a tiny little lady, you just have to meet her! Elvira is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated and has been given a dental. She has had medical care for her broken leg too - she should stay on supplements to keep her joints and bones healthy! Elvira's adoption fee is $250 - please apply on our website if you want to have a new shadow for the holidays!
