Cooper!  This handsome guy is about 1 year old and 20 pounds - a wonderful, sturdy size!  He is a long hair dachshund mix.  He needed somewhere to go and fortunately we were able to help him out!

Cooper is a sweet, gentle boy.  He is a bit timid on initial meeting and he needs a bit of time to warm up.  But it won't be long before he becomes your buddy!  Cooper is leash trained but loves to be in the yard so a fenced yard would be nice for him.  He is crate trained and doing well on his housetraining.  He will need a good consistant routine to keep this up!  Cooper is good with other dogs and likes to play and run in the yard!  He met a cat briefly and did not have any issues but he does not live with any felines! He is good with kids.  Cooper likes to be with his foster mom - he loves people and wants to make them happy!  He does know a few basic command and I think he would love to learn more.  

Cooper is now neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated, and heartworm neg.  His adoption fee is $250 - please apply online if you are interested in adopting sweet  Coop!
