Sweet Gelato!  She is a 5 year old Shih Tzu that was recently found as a stray and never claimed at a  local shelter.  She didn't like it there much and we couldn't resist her sweet face!

Gelato is a wonderful dog!  She is friendly and affectionate.  She likes other dogs and has no issues with the cats in her foster home but does bark at them.  Gelato is leash trained but she does pull - a yard would be ideal for her.  She is crate trained but rarely uses it.  Gelato is very good with kids when tested!  She likes toys and loves to be outside too!  She rides nicely in the car when going on little trips with her foster mom.  Gelato is smart and knows a few commands - she was definitely someone's dog at one time! 

Gelato is now spayed, up to date with her vaccines, microchipped, heartworm neg., and has been given a dental.  She has also been groomed!  Gelato will need regular grooming throughout her life so please consider this if you are interested in adopting.  Gelato's adoption fee is $275 - please apply online if you are interested!

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
