This gorgeous little girl is Sonja - a 1 year old peekapoo!  She is about 9 pounds.  Sonja was surrendered to a local shelter because her owners decided that they really didn't want a dog after all.  They left her outside in a kennel with a large dog all day!  Thankfully she is now safe and warm and back to being a house dog!

Sonja is a great little gal.  She is fun, playful, very energetic and just a joy!  She loves everyone!  She is great with kids.  Sonja is very playful with other dogs, big and small.  No issues with cats but may want to play with them.  She is crate trained and walks very nice on the leash.  Sonja is doing very well on housetraining but please expect accidents as she adjusts.  She will be a great little dog for a family!  Sonja will need to be groomed regularly throughout her life - about every 3 months.  Please take that into consideration! 

Sonja is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated.  She has also been groomed!  Her adoption fee is $425- this will help all the not so adoptable, high vet bill dogs that we have so many of in our rescue!  She is a wonderful little female dog fully vetted!  Please apply online if you are interested in this precious princess!
